If ever you're in need of a laugh...find a three-year-old!
So, the other night I made this really yummy new recipe. It was garlic spaghetti with winter greens. Robert and I had already eaten (Nate had been running around and we couldn't get him to sit and eat). Finally, after threats of going to bed hungry we got him to sit and eat. I was sitting in the living room reading and Robert was in the bedroom on the computer. I had looked in on Nate a few times and he was being a good boy eating all his dinner. Then after settling back into my book I hear, "Look Mommy!" I look. "I'm Shifu!" I totally bust up laughing. He's got a spaghetti noodle spread under his nose to look like the thin mustache of Master Shifu in Kung Fu Panda. Nate, like any kid near his age, loves animated features especially those done by DreamWorks and Pixar.
I had Robert run in because I didn't want him to miss this moment of personality. I'm always amazed at how funny, whitty, and smart my three-year-old can be. After this lighthearted moment I couldn't be frustrated with him anymore for being so rambuctious and lively. Those are some of the qualities that make him who he is.

Oh my gosh, that's adorable! I can't wait to have babies! LOL
That's hilarious! We need those moments to help ease the frustrations sometimes. My girls love that movie too.
Just FYI - we are leaving on the 20th and we get back on the 26th. So, hopefully we can get together before and/or after that. I can't wait to see you too!
he looks just like him!
That is why he is my favorite nursery kid.
Totally cute and funny. I just love that kid!!!
What a cute moment! Josh is also one to provide a laugh when I most need one! Hurray for 3-year-olds!
Also, we'll be in town when you're here. I'll email you and we can figure out some time to meet up.
That is so funny! I love that age! They say the funniest things. He is a smart little guy!
Almost cute enough to forgive the "ring" incident...almost.
I would've loved to see Bob talk to him about that.
hahaha, love it! Three year olds are great for a laugh...
We love that movie too, especially Jack. The first time we saw it he was only 15 months, but he was still doing "tricks" off the couch. Like falling backward off the couch arm rests (freaking his mother out). Thank you Kung Fu Panda.
That is awesome. He is so cute.I am so glad that we are going to have a way to keep intouch now. I love this blogging thing.
