Today Nate was especially hysterical. Being Father's Day, we woke up and made Robert waffles before we headed off to church to have a Father's Day Sacrament meeting. We just celebrated Mother's Day as well so I could see the wheels turning in Nate's head. As we were walking to Primary after Sacrament meeting Nate looks up at me and says, "Mom, when is Kid's Day?"
Also, when I picked him up from his primary class at the end of church his teacher leaned into me and whispered, "Nate gave the closing prayer today and asked Heavenly Father to bless his Daddy to give him his Father's Day treat!"
There you have it. Father's Day from the perspective of a five-year-old!
