One of the items on Robert's bucket list for Houston was to go to a Houston Texans football game. He has never been to an NFL game, and when he saw a preseason game was going to be on a Saturday, he decided to cross this one off his list. Like a good dad, he took his son with him. He and Nate had a great time at the game, and, sadly, Nate is starting to like football and now wants to watch it with his dad. I may never get my TV on Saturdays and Sundays ever again!
Notice their "excellent" seats, about 6 rows from the top of the stadium.
They ended up leaving around halftime because Robert was not thrilled by the group of incredibly intoxicated fans and their language sitting by our impressionable son. So, they ended up going to Sonic to get milkshakes. I do take some consolation knowing Nate's commitment to football is not concrete as he was more excited to tell me about his milkshake than the game!
