The Circus

Every year the Ringling Brothers Circus comes to town. This year, Robert had a student who was the director of public relations for a Chick-fil-A, and Chick-fil-A was a sponsor of the circus. So, this student gave Robert amazing tickets for the family (we were on like the 5th row). It was a really fun afternoon with the family, and we are so grateful for Robert's student and his generosity.

During intermission, Robert's student came and found us and had some more stuff for the kids.  He hooked them up with some circus swag.  The kids were in heaven.  The stuffed dragon that Scarlett is holding was appropriately named after Robert's student.

My favorite part of the circus has always been the elephants.  The kids and I were excited at how many elephants they had at the circus.

Here is a picture of Robert's favorite part.  Basically a bunch of people on motorcycles riding around a small, steel ball.  He was mesmerized and couldn't believe how many people they got in the cage.  In general, Robert was absolutely amazed at the circus.  I thought it was a little strange how much he was getting into the show.  Come to find out, Robert had never been to the circus, ever.  This was his first time, so his excitement is now understandable.  At various points he was more entertaining to watch than the actual circus!
