Since Nate's had to start sharing his room with his little sister he's had to get used to being awake at night when she cries. This makes for a very tired little boy and he crashes in the most entertaining positions. This is the one we see the most. For some reason, Nate likes to sleep horizontally on his bed. Sometimes his feet hang off and sometimes his head hangs off. How does he sleep like that?
I love how out he is. Although, I wonder if he ever wakes up stiff or with a crink in his neck from sleeping like his.
The classic stinkbug is also very common now. He used to do this a lot when he was a baby. It takes me back a few years.
Recently, one of the best parts of my day is putting Scarlett to bed and checking on Nate. I look forward to the smile it always brings to my face. Especially when he wakes just enough to give me another hug goodnight and ask again for his stuffed duck named Max and his WALL-E or his stuffed killer whale. One cannot sleep without two of the three tucked under the arms. :)
