Nate's Interpretation of Cars

Nate has his favorite Disney movies, one of which is Cars. His favorite character from Cars is Mater, the tow-truck. Pixar always includes little short films along with the full length feature films, and one of the shorts for Cars is a side story involving Mater and the "Ghost Light". For those who are not deeply versed in the Cars universe, the short involves Mater scaring all the resident Cars in Radiator Springs. In retaliation, the other Cars play a trick on Mater with the dreaded Ghost Light, an urban legend involving a blue light that appears in ones rear-view mirror before abduction. Mater finds himself at night with a lantern placed on his rear tow cable as his friends get him to think he is being chased by the Ghost Light.

Today Nate was enjoying watching Cars when he decided to recount the story of Mater and the Ghost Light to us. In Nate's own words (well close to his own words):

"Mater is scaring all the cars, so they try to scare Mater. When it is night time there is a light behind Mater and he gets really scared and he tries to run away, but the light is behind him on his back. Daddy, do you know what the light is?"

"No Nate, what is the light?"

"It is the Holy Ghost Light!"
