Nate's Birthday Cake and Baptism

This year Nate decided he wanted an Angry Birds birthday cake. Since it was a special birthday, I decided to put a lot of time and effort into his cake, including making all the birds and pigs out of fondant. I think it took me around 10 days to complete, but it turned out really nice and Nate absolutely loved it.

We were really excited that Nate was able to get baptized and that grandparents from both sides were able to come.  Plus, as a special surprise to Nate (and me for that matter), my sister Liz was able to come and be with us.  It was amazing!

If there is one thing my children have learned from their Grandpa Ross, it is "see-food".  And, Grandpa never misses an opportunity to show them how it is done.

Gee, I wonder where my husband get is from....!!!!!

Overall, it was an amazing weekend for our family.  We are extremely grateful that Nate chose to be baptized, and that he had the support from amazing friends and loving family.
