One of the things we loved about Parker Elementary was the music program. Nate learned to play guitar during his second grade year. There was a concert before Christmas and we were so excited to see what he's learned. His teacher told me that Nate was always anxious to learn and happy to be present during all his lessons and classes. He's a music kid, my Nate.
He was ready to go and none too happy about how long it took for the concert to get started.
He played so well and had a smile on his face the whole time. At least until Scarlett choked him with a congratulatory hug. Doesn't he look thrilled? This may be one of my all time favorite pictures of my kids together.

Proud dad. We love our little man. He's an amazing, irreplaceable part of our family. Such a talented little dude.
